Bosch Dishwashers Review

!±8± Bosch Dishwashers Review

Bosch is one of the top appliance manufacturers in the world. It is a true representation of German quality of manufacture and each dishwasher is built like a tank to last a lifetime. If you get a Bosch now, you would probably not need to replace it for a few decades, and even then not because of any defects, but simply because it has just become too old.

Of course with this quality of manufacture you will have to pay through your nose to get one of their high end ones. In fact Bosch has dishwashers that top the 00 mark, but then they are the best in the market, so no denying that either. The only good thing is that their basic models give you mostly everything that you need with the extra cost for the higher end ones going for extra functions and user friendliness.

For example if you take their cheapest option, SHE4AP024UC and their top of the line SHX68E15UC, there is more than 00 separating them. One costs 0 while the other costs 00. If however you get down to the nitty gritty you find that there is not much difference when it comes to washing dishes in them. Of course the cheaper one does not have adjustable racks, but apart from this if you look at the features that you get, this model itself would be more than sufficient for most families.

You get 4 wash cycles which is all that most people use anyway, a stainless steel drum, half load option with energy saver option, leak protection, NSF certification to say that 99.9% of the bacteria has been removed in the wash, a concealed heating element so that plastics don't melt, a 14 place setting and up to a 9 hr delay. It is also quite quiet with a 53 db rating which is around standard for a quiet dishwasher.

If you take their top of the line product, it comes with a 15 place setting, has everything that the basic one has apart from real cool LED lights under it to tell you that the washing is going on. This is supposedly necessary because at 40 db it is the quietest in the world. Why you would need this when you are the one that has loaded it is a little beyond us, but at 00 all this is necessary to push the product. If you think that the lights are there so that no one should open it when it is running, even the most basic model comes with a child proof lock so that no one can open it when it is running.

Everything else is extra features. You get a 24 hr delayed start, and a full LED display, plus a triple filtration system. There are 6 wash cycles and you get a very good looking machine, a machine that tells everyone that you have paid 00 for it.

As you can see their basic model is more than sufficient and if you feel that the adjustable racks are a necessity then you can go in for their next line that costs around 0. Paying so much to get something that effectively gives you only very little over their basic model is really not worth it.

The good thing about Bosch is that whether you get their cheapest one or their best one, the quality of manufacture is the same which is why many people actually prefer going with a basic Bosch to a more upmarket model from another manufacturer.
